Divron Bioventures is a new and different kind of company in the fish and aquaculture industry. We partner with communities fishing the tanks of Sri Lanka to increase the yield and value of the fish and provide higher income to fishers – freshwater prawns and fish such as tilapia.

In our hatcheries we are producing fingerlings of freshwater prawn and tilapia for stocking the reservoirs.

Under agreements with fishery societies we provide fingerlings on a long term continuous basis. We provide technical support to improve methods, yields and quality in association with NAQDA and Provincial Fisheries Officers.

We can also arrange financial assistance for purchase of fingerlings, fishing gear, and fish handling equipment. Divron has exclusive access to both domestic and export markets. Under agreements with fishery societies, we  purchase quality fish and freshwater prawns from the reservoirs.
